Today we honor and respect the founder of the Grand National Assembly and its 98th year of establishment and also wish all our children a happy National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

Today the sun proudly rises with victory. We celebrate the War of Independence, which resulted into victory with much combat at the battle of Dumlupinar!

The 2016 year that we left behind brought the call centre sector to 4,45 hundred billion TL and started off with a very important merger.

The two important players in the sector, Eko Contact Center and Vodasoft CCS made a decision to join forces.

They merged under the name of Contact Centre Services (EkoCCS) and became an outsourced call centre that serves the most brands.

I'd like to thank all my friends for their contributions and wish them all the success.

I wish all my friends a happy, healthy and a great new year.

Last night a bomb was thrown at police between the Suzer Plaza and the Besiktas Stadium. Based on the information on hand, 38 police have died. We give our deepest condolences to those who have died and patience to their families and a quick recovery to those who were injured.

In order to make this world a more livable place, we need to remain stronger and taller against those who are striving for their own gains.

There is no need to get upset about this. In the end, we're going to have the last laugh and so are the upcoming generations.

On Tuesday the 6th of December, I will be touching on sustainability and the topic of renewable energy, live from Paris on the 24 Hours of Reality: The Road Forward titled event.

On the 13th of November, we ran the Istanbul Marathon with 154 supporters, in the name of Tider and the new Support Market.

We were greatly happy knowing that every step that was run was in hope for the world and for those millions of unfortunate people. We started this campaign with “all things start with a step”.

I know quite well that although the runners had difficult moments, they were able to keep going with this motto. I did the same!

1049 people volunteered for our campaign. The campaign will continue till the 30th of November in which we want to increase this amount to 1200.

I have given a 1 week break to my writing blog due to the Bayram holiday. I will commence writing the week of 19 September.

On the 30th of August, 1922, the battle of Dumlupinar resulted in our independence and opened up doors of honorable living to us. By making all sacrifices to win the War of Independence, I pay my tribute and my deep respect to the great Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his soldiers.

We are celebrating the second anniversary of my first fintech enterprise, Moka Ödeme Kuruluş A.Ş. (www.moka.com). Moka, which offers bill payment , virtual POS and alternative payment services, continues to grow.

Investments in fintech will continue.

As I explained in my post entitled “A Nightmare: The Coup Attempt on July 15th,” (http://serhansuzer.com/en/a-nightmare-the-coup-attempt-on-july-15th) it is my fervent wish that everyone in our paradise of a country lives together in tranquility and peace, and I will do everything in my power to that end. That’s why I have decided to increase our investments in all of the sectors in which we are active.

We are all extremely saddened by the dire events of the 15th of July. May God have mercy on the souls of those who lost their lives and may those who lost loved ones grieve in grace. I would like to thank the sensible members of the armed forces, the police and the people of this country for preventing the coup from taking place.

We all support a well-functioning pluralistic democracy and the separation of powers.
