Last week, just before my birthday, I was pondering what to do and decided that a trip abroad would be a good morale boost and motivation boost. After all, I’d grown tired of dealing with countless problems in Türkiye for so long, grappling with the negativity and treachery of people. Going somewhere I’d never been before seemed like a great idea to unwind. I decided to choose a destination in the Atlantic Ocean I’d never been to. I chose Iceland, Scotland, and the Canary Islands as my three options. After researching, I decided Iceland was the most Zen place to unwind. Given the accessibility of my Schengen visa and the direct connections from Europe, I finalized my decision and planned to fly to Iceland on Friday and return on Tuesday. I’ll share my experiences and impressions of this beautiful country with you later in this post.

In this post, I’ll share what went through my mind as I drove for hours every day during the trip. In this magnificent natural setting, your thoughts intensify and you inevitably delve deeper. It’s like natural meditation, in a sense. I’m sharing the video below to illustrate the kind of environment in which I contemplate:
For example, six years ago, in the early days after leaving the family business, I was revisiting the content of the ‘35 Years Old’ essay I wrote and what I’ve experienced since then.
In this article, which you can read at http://www.serhansuzer.com/tr/bugun-dogum-gunum-yas-35-yolun-neresindeyim-ben-de-biliyorum , I discussed the stages of my life. In summary:
The first stage of my life encompasses the most relaxed, beautiful, and uninhibited period.

I can say that I had a happy childhood during this first phase. Furthermore, my primary school, high school, and university life all held their own unique charms.

Taking advantage of the opportunities offered by studying in Canada, I often went skiing with my university friends.
Indeed, everything was very enjoyable during my time at school. Of course, this rosy life I had lived came to an end.
Following my short stint in the US, my military service in Türkiye, and especially the seizure of our bank on the last day of my military service, made me realize that the previous rosy phase had clearly ended. You can find my detailed article on my second phase at http://www.serhansuzer.com/tr/15-yillik-is-hayatim-ve-gelecege-notlar.

The beginning of phase 2
After 10 years of working in the family business, I moved into phase three by leaving the family business and investing in a solar energy company. During phase three, I launched various ventures, including Hitit Solar, EkoCCS, EkoRE, Moka, and Bonbon. I continued all of these endeavors with high motivation, and of course, I particularly enjoyed my work in renewable energy. Sustainability is my passion.

The beginning of the 3rd phase
Currently, we’ve reached the end of my third phase. The last seven years have been a constant turmoil for me. The challenges I’ve experienced, especially in the past year and a half, have peaked. I won’t go into detail about them now; perhaps I’ll write about some of them later, but I can say that I’ve lived the most difficult year and a half of my life and been put through a real test.
The thing that most tormented me during all these challenges was the reckless pressure from those around me, and the betrayal I felt even from those I considered close. I won’t go into detail here, but I can say that you can see people’s true nature during difficult times. During this period, I distanced myself from many people and completely cut many off from my life.
From now on, those who deserve to be close to me will continue to be around me for the rest of my life. Perhaps the best part of this process was being able to clearly see who my true friends are. True friends will be around me for the rest of my life, and I will continue to do my best for them.

A shot I took at the end of my 3rd phase
What my fourth phase will bring
I’m about to enter my fourth phase. This phase will be a time when all my efforts are rewarded and I demonstrate Serhan’s true potential. I feel it.
At the same time, my efforts on behalf of humanity will continue to accelerate. Unfortunately, during this period, I saw very clearly that we are a society comprised of people whose souls are corrupt and who pursue evil. My fight for good people to come to the fore and become stronger will continue to gain momentum. The fact that good people hold power in our society will not only diminish the voices and active role of the bad ones but also lead those who are torn between two choices to naturally side with the powerful, meaning, in the future, with the good. I write this here to leave a mark on history.
My fight against evil people, who consume humanity like cancer cells, will continue until the very end. And I will do this not just for the sake of it or in a subtle way, but openly and directly. The fossil fuel lobby, other companies that destroy nature, companies that use NGOs as sales points and play on people’s emotions, pharmaceutical companies that invest in suppression methods that will make them more money in the long run rather than consciously finding cures for diseases, those who profit from drugs and cigarettes, individuals who set a bad example for society, and those with malicious intentions are just a few examples I can give you.
I can’t be modest about this; the coming era will be a time when my value is truly recognized, and people begin to give me my due. This change will occur both in my own country and internationally. Perhaps even when they see the respect and love shown to me by the developed countries, many of whom they hold in high regard due to their inferiority complexes, there will be a corresponding shift in perception in Türkiye. All the characterless people who have been attacking me lately will eventually come to their senses and show their respect for my achievements. Yet, I will continue to be the same Serhan I was yesterday and today, and tomorrow.
The difference our generation will make
I will continue to serve humanity with my heart, mind, and soul. I will focus on sustainability, namely, renewable energy, food, water, and ecological building concepts, as well as civil society work. I will make significant progress on behalf of humanity in these areas. I will also make significant differences through my investments in innovation and R&D in various areas where humanity truly needs them. I’m saying this now.
It’s especially crucial for our generation to make a difference. Because my generation has witnessed the most progress in human history. There’s a vast difference between the environment we lived in during our childhood and youth and today. Forget cell phones, there weren’t even decent televisions when I was a child. Now, we’ve entered a completely different era, a time when humanity’s future will be written. Thanks to the work of our generation, we can achieve significant progress and resolve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations, or, conversely, find ourselves stuck in the quagmire we find ourselves in.

The United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals
With this awareness, I will continue to do my best. I hope that during this time, I and entrepreneurs who think like me will go down in history as individuals who have changed human history for the better.
In other words, I will continue to serve people despite others. I will continue to accelerate my efforts for human development and to leave a better world for our children in every way.
Today, despite everything, I have resolved all the problems I experienced in my third phase and am on the verge of recovery. When I soon transition to my fourth phase, I will continue my journey in a well-deserved environment, constantly building on my progress. I look forward to achieving projects that some would consider unimaginable. Greetings to all the friends who have stood by me during these difficult times.
Beautiful days are coming!

This photo, taken during my Iceland vacation as I enter my fourth phase, perfectly captures the state I’m in. Colorful and beautiful days are coming soon…
Note: I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all my friends who wished me a happy birthday via social media, email, phone, and other communication channels like WhatsApp. Thank you, keep up the good work!
